Choose your edition
LEADx EQ Assessment: Self Edition
Fast, easy, and validated. The perfect way to start every team member's EQ journey. Best for team-wide rollouts, workshop pre-work, and coaching engagements where self-awareness is the starting point.
LEADx EQ Assessment: 360 Edition
The LEADx EQ 360 Assessment eliminates self-assessment bias with a multi-rater approach: confidential feedback from managers, peers, direct reports, and others alongside the self-rating. Best for senior leaders and high-potential cohorts, where the gap between self-perception and how others experience you is the insight that matters most.
How It Works for Your Team
Send your cohort the self-assessment by email, and each participant completes the assessment in about 15 minutes. Each participant receives a custom report and you can generate a cohort team report of aggregated scores.
Where Teams Use EQ Assessments
- Leadership development programs. Establish a baseline, then re-measure to prove behavior change.
- Workshop pre-work. Every LEADx emotional intelligence training session starts with the assessment, so the workshop lands on real data instead of generic advice.
- Coaching engagements. Give coaches a validated starting point and a shared language.
- High-potential cohorts. Use the 360 edition to surface the blind spots that stall otherwise strong performers.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the emotional intelligence assessment take?
About 15 minutes. Each participant receives a 15-page personal profile immediately, plus one-year access to unlimited retests, an AI-powered Dr. Travis coach, nudges via email, and elearning resources.
What's the difference between the Self and 360 editions?
The Self edition measures the participant’s own view of their four core EQ skills. The EQ 360 assessment adds confidential ratings from managers, peers, and direct reports, eliminating self-assessment bias.
Is the assessment scientifically validated?
Yes. The Emotional Intelligence Test™ was developed and validated by psychologist Dr. Travis Bradberry.
How is it administered to a team?
LEADx personnel, or one of your Certified EQ Facilitators, will send the assessment invitation to your cohort via email. Completion rates can be tracked in the administrator portal. Participants instantly receive their results, and the admin portal can generate aggregated team reports.
What does it cost?
Most organizations pay between $85 – $135 per participant, which includes the assessment, and one-year access to unlimited retests, AI-powered coaching, nudges, and elearning. Request a meeting to get exact pricing with volume-based and other discounts.
Can we pair the assessment with training?
Yes. In fact, most organizations run it as pre-work for the LEADx emotional intelligence training, then use unlimited retests during the year of sustainment to measure growth.
