Are you currently on the hunt for productivity tools to help you become more efficient and get more stuff done? Do you ever wonder what is the best productivity tool? As a productivity expert, I’m often asked “What is the BEST productivity tool?” or “What productivity tool should I use for …”
I used to say that there really wasn’t an answer to the question, “What is the BEST productivity tool?” because productivity isn’t a one-size-fits-all type of scenario. Creative people tend to need something that has pretty colors and images where as analytical people tend to like bullets and extra features. Some people need something that works with a team while others really need something that is completely mobile.
The various needs of the individual or organization must be taken into account when selecting the best productivity tool. However, despite years of stating that there isn’t a single best tool out there, I’ve finally changed my opinion. There is, after all, one tool that beats out all the others in EVERY case scenario that I’ve discovered. This is, hands down, THE BEST PRODUCTIVITY TOOL ever!
This amazing tool works whether you are a…
- Corporate executive
- Stay at home parent

Have you figured it out yet?
BEST Productivity Tool EVER – The BIG Reveal
The BEST PRODUCTIVITY TOOL EVER is your brain! Mindset, habits and beliefs are all formed using our brains. These 3 things are the key foundation to any effective productivity tool or system.
Mindset has been shown, over and over again, to be the unifying factor in every major productivity tool and system. If you don’t have the mindset to use a tool or system, the tool or system will fail. When you don’t have the habits to stick to a tool or system, it will fail. If you don’t have the belief that you CAN be productive and make good use of your time, you will stay overwhelmed no matter what tool you choose to use.
The good news is, if you are reading this, you already possess a brain. Granted, some of those that know you best may argue that, but we know the truth.
Where the necessary updates come in is how you choose to use your brain to maximize and improve your productivity.
The most productive people choose to have certain beliefs. These beliefs are what make them productive, not a special tool or system that they follow.
Productive people understand that life is built around chaos. Being productive doesn’t wait until everything is perfect to get started. They start now and work around the chaos, using it to their advantage rather than letting it be a disadvantage.
You Can’t Do Everything
There just isn’t enough time to do everything you may think you are supposed to do. Productive people understand this and say yes very carefully. They commit their time to the things that provide them with the highest value and benefit rather than attempting to be all things to all people. Productive people understand that they can everything that matters but they can’t have everything.
Living for Life
Productive people make choices that have an effect on the bigger picture. They work from their list of values, goals and priorities rather than reacting to what happens in the next 15 minutes because they understand the value of time.
It isn’t how you spend your time but how you multiply it. Productive people are open to solutions that will help them make better use of every minute. Sometimes that means taking time to make more time but they value the investment and the return it provides.
While still making time for their work, family and connections, productive people take time to center on self. They understand that, if they don’t care for themselves, they can’t care for anyone else. Rather than feeling guilty, productive people understand that this time is truly a way of being able to give more to others.
